DALLAS - The Latino Cultural Center (LCC) will be hosting the Día del Niño celebration with a free family festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2025, LCC located at 2600 Live Oak St., Dallas, TX 75204.
This exciting event is part of an international tradition honoring children as the heart and inspiration of every community. Families are invited to explore over a dozen hands-on arts and crafts activities, watch dynamic performances, and participate in outdoor games and storytelling sessions, all designed to inspire creativity and connection.
"Día del Niño is a joyful celebration of imagination, culture, and the incredible power of childhood," said Manager of the Latino Cultural Center, Gerardo Robles. “We invite families from all backgrounds to join us for a day of creativity, play and community.”
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy drop-in workshops like watercolor art, jewelry-making, canvas bag decorating, sun catchers, and more. Community partners including the Perot Museum, Nasher Sculpture Center, and Dallas Public Libraries will also offer educational activity tables for children.

- 12 p.m. – Le Theatre de Marionette Puppet Show
- 1 p.m. – RitchyFlo Magic Show
- 2 p.m. – Mariachi Cruzes
- 3 p.m. – Prism Movement Theatre’s Bruno & Louie

- DJ Priest spinning music in the Theater Lobby
- Dog presentation, Lotería Station, and Outdoor Games in the Courtyard
- Maria Aventura leading an Open Studio Workshop
The LCC is a division of the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture. The mission of the LCC is to serve as a catalyst for the preservation, development and promotion of Latino arts and culture in Dallas.
