DallasNow Launches May 5th!
DallasNow is a new system that will integrate Permitting, Planning, Platting, Zoning & Inspections and Engineering into one unified platform. The system will replace our current systems, including ProjectDox,and Contractors website.
DallasNow is a user-friendly system that will streamline the our processes and provide much more transparency for YOU, our customers. The online functionality allows for property owners, contractors and developers to apply, review and track applications electronically, thus eliminating the need to visit the Planning & Development offices. Additionally, all payments can be submitted online and customers will receive real-time notifications that include permits, inspection statuses, and itemized fee descriptions.

Parking Reform going to Dallas City Council
Dallas is working to update parking regulations. On March 20th, the City Plan Commission (CPC) recommended advancing Parking Reform to Dallas City Council.

Dallas Zoning Reform
Dallas will be working to update the Dallas Development Code to create a set of rules that is simple, clear, and future ready! This reform will create a modern, user-friendly code that implements ForwardDallas 2.0.
