 Office of Emergency Management & Crisis Response has partnered with the National Weather Service and to bring SKYWARN Storm Spotter class to Southern Dallas County. 

A free SKYWARN Severe Weather Education class is being held to help Southern Dallas County residents learn how to identify, report, and respond to severe weather events like tornadoes, hailstorms, and thunderstorms. The class will provide valuable training for individuals interested in becoming weather spotters, volunteers who help track storms and keep communities informed. Participants will gain knowledge on the role of storm spotters, weather safety, and how to contribute to the safety of their community during severe weather events.
