April is officially Dallas Arts Month, and it's time to immerse yourself in the city's vibrant arts scene all month long! This annual celebration encourages and amplifies the incredible work of local artists, arts organizations, and cultural institutions, offering a diverse lineup of exhibitions, performances, workshops, and more.
Whether you're a fan of visual arts, music, theater, or dance, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Explore galleries, support local talent, and experience the creativity that makes Dallas a hub for artistic expression.

 Public Art Dedication Ceremony for "Family Life" by Madeline Wiener
Crafted from beautifully carved dolomitic limestone, Family Life serves as both a sculptural installation and a welcoming gathering space for the community. The artwork reflects themes of family, unity, and connection, enhancing the landscape of Pleasant Oaks Recreation Center as a place where people of all ages can come together.
Join us as we celebrate the completion of the work. The event is free and open to the public.

 Public Art Dedication Ceremony for "The Stories of Cancer’s Journey" by Joshua King
This powerful new public artwork, will soon stand as a testament to strength, perseverance, and hope at Cancer Survivors’ Plaza in Dallas.
This deeply moving piece brings to life the inspiring stories of four cancer survivors, capturing their struggles, triumphs, and losses in an artistic tribute that resonates with all who have been touched by cancer.

Cultural Organizations Program closing soon!
Your last chance to apply for the Cultural Organizations Program (COP), which provides operational funding for Dallas-based nonprofit arts and culture organizations happens this month.
Applications are reviewed annually through a panel process, supporting organizations that bring arts experiences and cultural enrichment to our community.
Application Closes: April 18, 2025
