City of Dallas to Host Public Meeting on Digital Kiosks
DALLAS – The City of Dallas Planning and Development Department will host a public meeting to solicit feedback regarding digital kiosks on Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dallas City Hall, Room L1 Auditorium, 1500 Marilla St., Dallas, TX 75201. The public is invited to attend the meeting either in-person or virtually.
The meeting will focus on kiosks within the public rights-of-way, not private property. The City does not actively have any request for proposals (RFPs) for any additional kiosks. This meeting is the start of a new effort to research kiosks and their impact on the build environment.
The objectives of this meeting:
· Allow the public to share perspectives on digital kiosks within City rights-of-way.
· Share information about how digital kiosks have been introduced in other cities.
The meeting will be available with simultaneous Spanish interpretation and interactive polling. Register to attend at http://bit.ly/dgmeetingaug2024.
Parking and Security: Attendees may park behind City Hall in metered spots or in nearby paid parking lots. The Main Entrance at the City Plaza is the designated after-hours entry and exit. Visitors can park at the horseshoe parking or anywhere else around city hall. The meters behind City Hall mostly have the active times of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Please enter through the City Hall Lobby security booth located in the main entrance.
