DALLAS - The City of Dallas Convention and Event Services Department (CES) has released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for Component 1 of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas (KBHCCD) expansion project as of Friday, June 28, 2024.
The RFQ invites construction management firms to submit their qualifications for the KBHCCD expansion, specifically focusing on the area west of Lamar Street as outlined in Component 1 of the Master Plan. This phase will move from conceptual designs to implementable construction plans, with other elements of Component 1 to be handled separately.
The solicitation aligns with the City's objectives of fostering equity, sustainability, and economic growth while delivering a world-class convention center that strengthens community ties.
