City of Dallas Celebrates 2nd Annual Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration with AT&T Performing Arts Center

DALLAS - The Dallas Police Department Office of Community Affairs is proud to announce its collaboration with the AT&T Performing Arts Center for the second consecutive year to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.

Residents and visitors alike are invited to join the festivities as we kick off AAPI Heritage Month with a vibrant celebration in Sammons Park. The event will feature authentic food vendors, showcase the talents of local artisans, offer captivating performances, and host a diverse vendor market with activities suitable for all ages.

One of the highlights of the celebration is the Culinary Passport activity, where attendees can embark on a flavorful journey sampling snacks from five different Asian cultures. Alongside the culinary delights, participants will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the rich tapestry of Asian heritage, with each tasting offering insights into the cultural significance of the dishes. Plus, every completed passport provides an entry into a raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes.
