City of Dallas Bond and Construction Management Department Releases Bond Projects Map and List for Public Viewing
DALLAS-The City of Dallas Bond and Construction Management Department is pleased to announce the release of the proposed 2024 Bond Program project listing, map and updated FAQ now available for public viewing on the department's official website.
The City of Dallas has called for a bond election on May 4, 2024, to ask Dallas voters to consider ten bond propositions, which make up the $1.25 billion 2024 bond program. In-person early voting takes place from April 22-30, including weekend hours. Election Day voting will be held on Saturday, May 4. The City’s Office of Bond and Construction Management is providing information on their website, including a project listing, map and a FAQ document on the 2024 bond program, which will be made available to City voters on March 22, 2024.
The City Council has the authority to add or delete specific projects, modify project scope, add new projects, or adjust the amounts needed for specific projects, within the same proposition. Passage of a proposition does not guarantee that the City of Dallas will complete a specific project.
The comprehensive map and list outline the various bond projects planned for the city, providing information on upcoming developments, renovations, and infrastructure improvements as currently planned. Residents, stakeholders, and interested parties may explore the map and list to review the City's future projects, as they are currently planned.
This release marks an important milestone in the city's commitment to transparency and community engagement. By making this factual information readily accessible, the City of Dallas aims to foster informed participation and collaboration among its constituents.
