Media availability: Temporary Inclement Weather Shelter Set Up in Fair Park  

What

For people experiencing homelessness in need of Temporary Inclement Weather Shelter (TIWS), in accordance with Chapter 45 of the Dallas City Code, the city will open TIWS to help keep residents safe during an inclement weather shelter declaration.

Inclement weather activation updates if needed will be posted at bit.ly/OHSTIWS.

Spanish interpretation will be available.
