DALLAS - The City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture (OAC) announces a call for entries for the fifth-year ART214 juried exhibition, a multi-venue collaborative project which will be presented during Dallas Arts Month in 2024. ART214 showcases the works of artists who live in Dallas and the greater North Texas region. Visual artists who live in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Greater North Texas region are eligible and encouraged to apply.
Through this exhibition, OAC fosters relationships with new artists, and provides opportunities for artists to exhibit their work for the first time in one of the four cultural centers found across Dallas for the first time ever. ART214 also gives artists who have previously exhibited at one of the cultural centers an opportunity to display their work at a different location.
ART214 allows residents of Dallas the opportunity to discover and enjoy the work of talented local and regional visual artists. Each of the partnering cultural center brings its own audiences, artists, communities and history. By aligning the exhibition dates of the showcase across the city to fall within Dallas Arts Month, the ART214 exhibition creates a unique opportunity for the public to visit all cultural centers and the Moody Performance Hall to enjoy the display during a time of arts celebration.
