DALLAS - El Rio Grande Latin Market, DFW's premier Latin culinary shopping experience, opened its fifth Dallas location on Friday, Aug.18, expanding access to healthy cost-effective groceries within the metroplex.
“We believe that where you live should not determine access to quality food and are excited to serve our East Dallas neighbors at the newest Buckner location,” said Tangela Ingram, El Rio Grande spokesperson. “Whether you are experiencing our Latin cuisine for the first time or looking to make a dish that is reminiscent of your childhood, our goal is to always provide patrons with an authentic, healthy, and well-priced selection.”
The new store is located at 3035 N Buckner Blvd Dallas, TX, 75228, the northwest corner of Buckner Boulevard and John West Road. With approximately 450,000 Dallas residents living in a food desert, the newest location helps bring high-quality and affordable groceries to more families.
The opening of this El Rio Grande Latin Market was a result of an economic development incentive agreement between the City of Dallas and commercial developer, Vista Property Company.
“It’s an exciting time for residents of District 7, as El Rio Grande is set to open their doors,” said Adam Bazaldua, District 7 Dallas City Councilmember. “I cannot be more grateful for the partnership between the City of Dallas and Vista Property Company. This collaboration created a unique opportunity of bringing a new grocery store to this community. El Rio Grande will serve our community and make it easier for our residents to have access to quality food. I look forward to celebrating this accomplishment with our residents and partners.”
