City of Dallas, Dallas Police Department, State Representative Victoria Neave Criado to host Public Safety and Domestic Violence Prevention Press Conference

What

The City of Dallas, in partnership with the Dallas Police Department and State Representative Victoria Neave Criado, is hosting a Public Safety and Domestic Violence Prevention Press Conference. The goal of the press conference is to highlight important public safety legislation that passed this session along with a focus on domestic violence prevention.

Non-profit and community partners across Dallas have indicated the need for a better and more robust data tracking system for domestic violence and human trafficking cases. We would like to highlight the importance of HB 5202 and how this bill creates a centralized website containing information regarding individuals who have repeatedly committed felony intimate partner violence at no cost to the public.

Please join Representative Victoria Neave Criado and Chief Garcia as we bring awareness to our community.
