The Palestinian Youth Movement is excited to announce our pop-up art exhibition and Nakba survivors panel entitled 75 Years of Resistance. 75 Years of Glory.
This exhibit honors the courage and steadfastness of the Palestinian people in their resistance to Zionist oppression and colonization dating back to the 1948 catastrophe known as the Nakba. We will feature work from Palestinian artists in the North Texas region that explore themes of resistance and struggle, while also paying homage to our elders, martyrs and political prisoners.
Programming will begin promptly at 2:30 PM.

An electric jungle, a place so magical...
Kali Marz, a soulful and electric singer/songwriter from Texas is an upcoming artist who brings their unique vibes to the sonic spectrum of House/Electronic Music. With a passionate and spiritual delivery, Kali has collaborated with artists in other countries, most recently DJ/Producer duo In House on their single Desire, open mics and showcases throughout their hometown, Dallas/Fort Worth. Kali grew up in Fort Worth, Texas in a musically gifted family. Kali received their first informal music training from their father who would sit them down and play music from The Winans and have them to mimic or repeat and harmonize with the singers. As Kali grew into their own musical discovery, they became influenced by unique, otherworldly, ethereal and gutsy singers, like Chaka Khan, Yukimi Nagano (Little Dragon), Sarah Vaughn, Rahsaan Patterson, Faith Evans, Sylvester, and Boy George to name a few, but also felt drawn to unique and electronic sounds. Kali is that conduit between the ethereal and the electric, the analog and the digital. Kali is one of the newest artists signed to SO Fierce Music Founded by Artist/Producer Velvet Code. Kali feels that being Black and Queer has helped to shape their musical identity and view of the world.
