Racial Equity Plan: Recognizing Inter-Generational Equity Pioneers Request for Coverage

 

What

Following the recently approved Racial Equity Plan (REP), the City of Dallas and Texas A&M University - Commerce, are hosting the Racial Equity Plan: Recognizing Inter-Generational Equity Pioneers a morning forum meant to acknowledge “Equity Pioneers” – past and present – who have a history of working towards an equitable future.

Residents, businesses, organizations, and other key stakeholders are invited to join the in-person event that will explore the legacies, continued work, and the future of advancing equity. This event will consist of welcoming remarks and panel discussions on Dallas’ history of advancing equity, the current state of equity, and the future direction.
