Pack a blanket and a picnic and prepare to enjoy one of Shakespeare's most iconic plays under the stars, as Auriga Productions presents its inaugural production of KING LEAR! One of Shakespeare’s most epic tragedies, this story will keep you glued to your seat with its soaring language, moving poetry, and iconic characters!
This event is presented outdoors at the Bath House Cultural Center near the shore of White Rock Lake.

King Lear is the politically resonant, timeless, and searing story of an aging monarch, a kingdom divided and a family in turmoil. Lear’s decision to divide his kingdom among his three daughters ignites a firestorm of greed and betrayal. Displaced as king and cast out as patriarch, Lear discovers the fragility of familial bonds as he descends into madness.
