City of Dallas hosts Free Summer of Safety Celebration August 27

What

The City of Dallas and UNT Dallas are hosting a Summer of Safety Celebration to highlight work to reduce violent crime this summer. Mayor Eric Johnson and Dallas Police Department Chief Eddie Garcia launched the Summer of Safety campaign in June 2022 to promote public safety through engagement with the City’s free and low-cost youth programs. The family-friendly event will include food, music, and a community resource fair with giveaways.
