City of Dallas receives Best Place for Working Parents designation

DALLAS -- The City of Dallas has received the 2022 Best Place for Working Parents designation by the Best Place for Working Parents.

The Best Place for Working Parents is made up of community businesses that work to educate organizations on the importance of promoting family in the workplace. Policies the organizations look at include: company-paid healthcare coverage, paid time off, parental leave, childcare assistance and working remotely.

“I am proud and thankful for the commitment and dedication to public service of the City of Dallas employees. It is with this commitment and dedication that we have earned a “2022 Best Place for Working Parents” designation.  We are leading the way in being a family friendly place for our working parents,” said City Manager T.C. Broadnax.

The designation recognizes the City’s commitment to supporting working parents through its family-friendly policies and practices, such as paid parental leave and childcare subsidy.

“It is a privilege to be in a position to support the efforts of our brilliant city staff in helping the City of Dallas become the best city to work in Texas,” said Councilmember Jaynie Schultz, Chair of the Workforce, Education, and Equity Committee.
