Honk - Movie Screening
June 25, 2022 (5 PM)
Join the Friends of the Bath House to see a private screening of the film, Honk, an internationally recognized and awarded documentary, starring Honk the Goose as himself and his bestie, Cheryl Allison, in this true story of an unlikely friendship. The story of Honk and Cheryl made national news and their friendship and love became a source of joy and hope during a period of isolation and loss for so many.
Cheryl was not only instrumental in saving Honk but devoted her time to win his friendship…Oh wait, that’s not quite true—Honk fell in love with Cheryl at first sight, as you will see for yourself in the film!
Since completing this film, Cheryl has entered the documentary into numerous film festivals, receiving a trove of accolades and awards for affectionately sharing her heartwarming story with this very special goose.
Cheryl Allison, Kathy Rogers, Founder of Rogers Wildlife and the Center’s duck handler, Rusty Gragsone, and Marty Van Kleeck, associate producer on the film and co-author of the books, will be in attendance and available for a “talk back” after the movie.
