DALLAS – Council Member Tennell Atkins shared the following statement regarding the former Blue Star Recycling site:
"I am pleased to report that Wednesday the City Council passed a resolution to acquire the former site of Blue Star Recycling located at 9505 S. Central Expressway. The City expects ownership to transfer in the next couple of months.
“I want to thank my fellow council members, city staff, and the ongoing support and advocacy of community members and stakeholders.
“The City finalized its environmental assessment of the former site of Blue Star Recycling located at 9505 S. Central Expressway on June 7, 2021, and the reports will be made available online this Friday."
