
The COVID-19 Community Vaccination Center (CVC) at Fair Park does not require an appointment for people 55 and older. Go to Fair Park Gate 2 or Gate 10 with a photo ID during operating hours.
Residents may also now schedule a same-day or next-day appointment for their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine in Fair Park or at The Potter's House through the Dallas County Health and Human Services COVID-19 vaccination scheduler. No invitation from the County or City is required.

Dallas residents who are home-bound and without transportation to reach a vaccine site may also receive in-home vaccinations from Dallas Fire-Rescue and Visiting Nurse Association of Texas (VNA). Please email District4@dallascityhall.com if you need assistance to request an in-home vaccine.

Here Comes Kindergarten
School Readiness Series
Starting Kindergarten can be scary for parents and children! Dallas Public Library is offering a six-week series of online workshops for children and parents designed to build confidence, school readiness, and social emotional skills. Each week will include a story, songs, interactive activities, and projects for “homework.” Over the course of the program, all the letters of the alphabet and numbers 1 to 10 will be covered, as well as topics important for kindergarten success including colors, shapes, patterns, compound words, feelings, following directions, hygiene, and more.
