District 6 hosts free COVID-19 vaccination registration events  

DALLAS — Three free COVID-19 vaccine registration events will be held in District 6. Opportunities to register to receive the COVID-19 vaccinate include: 

    • Tuesday, April 6, Arcadia Park Library from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday, April 13, Buckner Hope Center, 3100 Lombardy Ln from 3 to 6 p.m.
    • Thursday, April 22, Nash-Davis Recreation Center, 3710 N. Hampton Rd from 3 to 6 p.m.

The events are cohosted by:

  • Council Member Omar Narvaez, 
  • County Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, District 4.
  • State Representative Jasmine Crockett, House District 100,
  • State Representative Rafael Anchia, House District 103, 

There is no cost to register for the vaccine. Facial coverings and social distancing protocols will be strictly enforced.  

How to register with Dallas County Health and Human Services for the COVID-19 Vaccine: 

  • Register in person at one of the vaccine registration events,
  • Register via phone at 1-855-466-8639. The hotline is open seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or
  • Register via the web at dallascountycovid.org 

The events are only to help residents register for the vaccine.
