Dallas Neighborhood Vitality Grant (DVNG) Award Recipients

Dallas, Texas – More than $100,000 in grant money was awarded among 19 different recipients participating in the 2019 – 2020 Dallas Neighborhood Vitality Grant (DNVG) program.  Dallas Planning & Urban Design (PUD) awarded the grants to different neighborhood organizations. The grants will cover beautification and improvement projects like:

  • Improving walk-ability with new and repaired sidewalks
  • Branding neighborhoods with new sign toppers
  • Enhancing a park with bi-lingual signage for a phone app with plant identification

The City will partner with neighborhood organizations and non-profits over the next twelve months to implement these projects. The DNVG program is a competitive annual funding opportunity to encourage neighborhood organizations to identify and implement projects that address specific needs while increasing resident engagement, promoting neighborhood pride and building organizational capacity through collaboration and partnerships.

More information on the DNVG program and grant recipients is available at https://dallascityhall.com/departments/pnv/Pages/DNVGrant.aspx.
