LGBT Taskforce Pride Declaration Scheduled for Wednesday

Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Adam Medrano will read a proclamation designating June as Pride Month in Dallas and present the Spirit of Equality awards, in conjunction with Pride Month celebrations across the country. These awards are presented to advocates and allies for the LGBT Community in Dallas.

The LGBT Employee Association of Dallas, in conjunction with The Dallas Way and UNT Special Collections, will unveil the 2019 Pride Month exhibit, entitled “Women in the Dallas LGBTQ Community History.”
