City of Dallas to proclaim October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Dallas – On Wednesday, October 3, Councilmember Jennifer S. Gates will read a Mayoral proclamation declaring the month of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Councilmember Gates, who chairs the Mayor’s Domestic Violence Taskforce, will also recognize various organizations that currently serve victims of domestic violence.
