Change of venue announced for Dallas Symphony Orchestra Concert

Dallas – The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is changing the venue of its free concert scheduled on September 11. The new location is at A+ Secondary School, 445 South Masters Dr. Pre-concert activities will start at 6:30 p.m. and concert time will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The concert will feature a program of patriotic songs, familiar film music and audience favorites, conducted by Andres Franco. The evening’s host is Dallas City Councilmember Rickey D. Callahan. The new venue is in Pleasant Grove, part of the district Councilmember Callahan serves. In addition, the City of Dallas Veteran Employee Resource Group will lead the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance and a reading remembering 9/11/2001.
