Dallas City Hall at 40: I.M. Pei’s Legacy in Dallas

What

The Dallas Municipal Archives and City Secretary’s Office will host a one-hour panel discussion to mark the 40th anniversary of the dedication and move-in to Dallas’ present day city hall. Panelists will discuss Dallas City Hall’s history, the building’s impact on the architectural landscape of Dallas, and the city’s long relationship with Pei Cobb Freed and Partners.

The event will include a pop-up exhibit on the construction and dedication of Dallas City Hall and the reading of a statement from Henry Cobb, senior partner of Pei Cobb Freed, commemorating the anniversary of the building
