Police vs. Richardson Police Charity Hockey Game
The
Dallas Police Hockey team is playing the Richardson Police Hockey team in a
special benefit game for Alexah Hebert. Alexah is the 8-year-old daughter of
Dallas Police officers Heather and Matt Hebert. When she was 9-months-old,
Alexah was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. Pulmonary Hypertension is a
progressive disease with no known cure and Alexah has been given a terminal
prognosis. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Hebert family to
help them make a trip to Orlando, Florida to attend the Pulmonary Hypertension
Association Conference.
The
hockey game will be Friday, February 23rd at 7:30 p.m. at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter
located at 4020 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX. Admission is $10 for adults and $5
for kids. There will be appearances by the Dallas Stars Ice Girls, Dallas Stars
Mascot Victor E. Green, and Dallas Stars Alumni Landon Wilson will be playing in
the game. This event is sponsored by the Dallas Stars Foundation.
Attendees
will also have the opportunity to make donations to the family of
fallen Richardson Police Officer David Sherrard.
