Dogs Playing for Life helps Dallas Animal Services launch playgroups

What

Dogs Playing For Life, an organization dedicated to training shelters to hold safe playgroups for shelter dogs, is spending the week at Dallas Animal Services, helping them to launch a playgroup program for their dogs.

Playgroups give shelter dogs exercise and engagement that keeps them happier in the shelter environment, and makes them more adoptable.

DAS staff and volunteers have been learning from Aimee Sadler and her team all week, and will be holding their final day of playgroups Thursday, December 21. The media is invited to the afternoon playgroup session starting at 3 p.m.
