Dallas, Texas – Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine R. Caraway is hosting a Thanksgiving “Baskets of Hope” Community Outreach event this Saturday, November 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Big T Bazaar in Southern Dallas. It will mark the Councilmember’s 8^th year bringing together community leaders and sponsors to provide senior citizens and families in need with turkeys to continue their Thanksgiving dinner traditions, as well as share a hot meal with the Councilmember.  1,000 turkeys will be donated to the needy during this event.  Meals will be supplied at no cost by Gator’s Barbeque.
