NEW ONLINE ALARM PERMIT
REGISTRATION
DALLAS – The City of Dallas Police Department Alarm Permit Compliance
Unit’s false alarm program is now offering online registration for the
convenience of the public beginning October 9, 2017. The online registration
service is part of an agreement between the Dallas Police Department and Public
Safety Corporation to handle most administrative functions of the false alarm
reduction effort. The agreement furthers
the Dallas Police Department’s commitment to reduce the number of false alarm
calls enabling officers to remain available for higher priority calls and crime
reduction efforts.
Public Safety Corporation, who uses its proprietary CryWolf
software, will take over alarm registration, false alarm notifications, billing
and collection for the City of Dallas.
It will also provide customer support from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday.
All City of Dallas alarm users are required to register under
City Code 15(c). This includes all
residential and commercial locations within the City of Dallas.
Residential and commercial users can register online. This link is conveniently available on the
Dallas Police Department website at www.dallaspolice.net and on the City of Dallas website at
www.dallascityhall.com. Once registered, users will be issued a logon and
password, so that they may check their account at any time.
Any business that provides alarm monitoring, servicing or
installation is also required to be registered as an alarm provider. Registration for alarm companies or
