Temporary restraining order filed to block removal of Confederate statue

Dallas – The City of Dallas today confirmed that a temporary restraining order has been issued to halt removal of the Confederate statue in Lee Park.

Earlier today, the City Council voted 13 to 1 to authorize immediate removal of the statue and transport it to Hensley Field in Dallas for storage.
