Volunteers for Dallas Cowboys Flag Unfurling

All Sworn Personnel please see message below from Arlington PD.

If you are volunteering to participate, it must be off duty and on your own time.  In addition, you must wear your Class A Uniform, no hat.

Due to the devastation of Hurricane Harvey, the Dallas Cowboys are in need of volunteers.  The Cowboys – Texans game on Thursday, August 31st will be a First Responder Appreciation Game hosted by the NFL to salute the great work done by first responders in the greater Houston area.

The Dallas Cowboys are in need of 60 – 80 first responders to volunteer to unfurl the Texas and the American flag for the National Anthem before the game.  As an incentive, volunteers may invite 1 family member.  They will also need to be participants in the flag unfurling.

We will need the names of every participant that will be attending to provide to the Dallas Cowboys.  First responders are asked to be in full uniform.  Other participants are asked to wear Dallas Cowboys colors.

Participant parking will be in LOT 4, just across from the Stadium (AT&T Way).  Participants will need to be in the tunnel by 3:45 pm.  After rehearsal, flag participants will be provided food and drinks until the anthem.  Seating during the game will be provided in 200 level.

The deadline is 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31st and will be determined on a first come, first serve basis.
