Identification Cards
All employees,
Please keep in mind General Order 324.03 E & F regarding
wearing departmental or city identification card in restricted areas on outer garments.
Lanyards and identification card holders are being
distributed to each work group at headquarters. If employees assigned to
divisions away from headquarters need a lanyard and card holder, please contact
Sergeant Charles Ned.
324.00 SECURITY FOR POLICE FACILITIES
E. While in restricted areas, all non-sworn employees will
wear their departmental or city identification card in a visible location on an outer garment.
F. When not in uniform, all sworn employees may wear either
their badge or city identification card on an outer garment. The badge or identification card must be visible
while in restricted areas.
