The public is invited to an early Independence
Day celebration, “Red, White & Boom on the Bridge”, sponsored by Mrs.
Baird’s, CBS Radio and the City of Dallas. The festivities will be centered on the Felix
H. Lozada, Sr. Gateway, Ronald Kirk Bridge and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.
The community will have the rare
opportunity to take a stroll across the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and view its
architectural style and beauty. The event is open to the public with free
admission from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Festivities will include food, games and
fireworks that can be viewed from the bridges, which offer the best views of
the City of downtown Dallas and the Trinity River. For more details about this
