The Dallas City Marshal’s Office and the Dallas Police Department are announcing the 10th Annual Great Texas Warrant Round Up on Friday, Feb. 19. They will concentrate efforts to arrest wanted individuals with unpaid traffic and non-traffic citations and warrants pending before the Dallas Municipal Court starting March 5.
Offenders who are delinquent in satisfying their City of Dallas warrants are subject to a hold placed on the renewal of their vehicle registration with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (Scofflaw Program) or arrest and jail time. In Dallas, drivers may also be subject to denial of their driver's license renewal.
Persons with outstanding citations in the City of Dallas may avoid vehicle registration holds or arrest by paying in person at 2014 Main St. between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 12 p.m. (wheelchair access is at 2014 Main Street).
