Truth in Taxation Training

Dear Chief Appraisers, Tax Assessor-Collectors and Superintendents:
The Property Tax Assistance Division announces Truth-in-Taxation (TNT) training. Training sessions begin July 25 and continue through Aug. 10, at various times and days. All TNT training this year will be provided by webinar. You can view the complete schedule and register for the webinars at: www.window.state.tx.us/taxinfo/proptax/webinars.html.
The three TNT sessions are:
- TNT New Laws,
- TNT Worksheets and
- TNT Notice Requirements.
They are divided into sessions for school districts and for all other taxing units. Registrants may watch the training from individual computers or as groups in your offices. The form to claim credit for group watching is located at: www.window.state.tx.us/taxinfo/taxforms/50-797.pdf.
Registrants attending the webinars can receive continuing education credits through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
