TEFA Applications Now Open

Today’s the day! The Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) application portal is officially live, and we couldn’t be more excited for Texas families.

Every student is different, and this program is all about giving parents more freedom to choose the education that truly fits their child. Whether that means private school, homeschooling, tutoring, therapies, online learning or a customized mix of services, these accounts are designed to help you build a plan that works for your family.

When parents have more options, students have more opportunity — and that’s a win for Texas.

The resources below will walk you step by step through how to apply and what to expect. We’re thrilled to partner with you and can’t wait to see the new possibilities this program opens for families all across our great state.

Apply Now for Texas Education Freedom Accounts

Family applications are now open and will be available until 11:59 p.m. (CT) on March 17. This is not a first-come, first-served program, so you have no need to rush.
