It’s Never Too Early to Plan for College! Start Saving Today.
September is National College Savings Month, and now is the perfect time to enroll a child in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund® — the state’s prepaid college tuition plan.
This flexible savings plan lets you lock in tomorrow’s tuition and schoolwide required fees at most Texas public colleges and universities at today’s prices (excluding medical and dental institutions). The plan allows families to purchase tuition units to pay for all or a portion of these costs.
The Plan Offers These Helpful Options:
- Three different types of tuition units
- A variety of payment plans
- Flexible enrollment that allows parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles or even friends to establish an account*
You can enroll in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund through Feb. 29, 2020. Accounts for newborns (children younger than 1 year of age at the time of enrollment) can be established through July 31, 2020.
