Businesses in Texas are statutorily required to file an annual report to the Texas Comptroller’s office for unclaimed property. More information and resources about holder responsibilities, including reporting instructions, are available online.

Check with your accountant or financial advisor to ensure you've been filing correctly.

Unclaimed property holder reports and payments are due online by July 1. Don’t have anything to report this year? That’s easy — just file a negative report!
