The gift of education, a child's future, is a legacy that lasts forever.
You can start a legacy by enrolling in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund® — the state's prepaid college tuition plan. And fifth through ninth graders whose families have an annual income of $100,000 or less* can apply for matching scholarships through the Texas Match the Promise Foundation℠. Match the Promise scholarships encourage families to save for college by supplementing their contributions to the Texas Tuition Promise Fund. Approved recipients can receive matching scholarships of tuition units worth up to $1,000 at today's prices, and top-scoring recipients can also receive a one-time grant of tuition units worth $2,000 at today's prices. Apply Now and Start a Legacy Eligible applicants may apply for Match the Promise scholarships through Dec. 31, 2016. Families may also enroll in the Texas Tuition Promise Fund during this time if they haven't already done so. (If approved, recipients will have until Aug. 31, 2017, to meet the contribution requirements of the scholarship program.)
