The website overhaul demonstrates the Comptroller’s commitment to provide taxpayers easy access to the tools they use most.

Key features include the following

  • Streamlined automated processes: Economic and various tax data are displayed more intuitively and cleanly than ever before.
  • Enhanced customer service: Homepage access to the Business Center showcases commonly used tools and applications, making it easier to do business on our site. Our help videos offer additional assistance.
  • Enhanced search capability: Visitors can find what they need quicker than ever, with greater precision in keyword searches.
  • 508 compliance: Users with different visual abilities will have a quality experience.

The Comptroller’s office launched its first agency website in December 1994. Since then, agency executives created several more program-specific websites. Now those sites come together. Comptroller.Texas.Gov will be a one-stop shop for nearly all agency needs as this single website houses the former TexasTransparency.org, TexasAhead.org, KeepingTexasFirst.org, TheTexasEconomy.org, MatchthePromise.org and EveryChanceEveryTexan.org.
