The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Presents: The State Use Program Overview/Austin Lighthouse for the Blind Tour TWC Administration will moderate a two-hour overview and a Lighthouse for the Blind tour for state use coordinators, procurement and/or contract management professionals to ensure agency compliance with procurement laws pertaining to the State Use Program. The overview will cover TWC responsibilities and duties, discussions on compliance with state use procurement laws, utilization of TIBH Industries, Inc., and the monthly Exception Report. Participants are eligible for two hours of continuing education procurement training credits for attending this session in its entirety. Thursday, November 12, 2015 Travis Association for the Blind Check box next to Austin Lighthouse for the Blind Facility Tour. Fill out the portion on the next form that says: “New Student Registration” if you have never registered through this system. If you have registered through this system, enter your email address. Make sure to click on “Free Class.” Once you have filled out the registration form, you will receive a “Training Confirmation/Invoice” email. Keep this for your records.
