Now that the Governor's veto deadline has passed and the 2015 Legislative Session is over, it's time to shift our focus to the upcoming biennium.
On June 9, Comptroller Glenn Hegar certified the Texas budget for 2016–17, ensuring the state can continue to provide the many vital services Texans rely on during the biennium. As Texas' chief financial officer, Hegar offers his thoughts on the budget in a Web video released today.
