Join Arlington this Veterans Day, Nov. 11, as we honor the brave men and women of our armed forces with free community events.
The 18th annual Veterans Day Commemoration Ceremony is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Arlington Veterans Park Memorial at Veterans Park, 3600 W. Arkansas Lane. This year’s ceremony will have special recognition of Tuskegee Airmen and the 250th Anniversary of the United States Marine Corps. Brigadier General Leon A. Johnson, U.S. Air Force Retired is the keynote speaker.
Then don't miss the second annual Texas Veterans Day Parade, which will kick off at 5 p.m. in Arlington's Entertainment District. The parade features entries from all over the state, including ROTC units from different universities, all six Arlington high school marching bands with drill teams and cheerleaders, military vehicles, flyovers and a Veteran Services area. The festivities will conclude with a live drone show beginning at 7 p.m.
Let's come together to show our deep gratitude to all who have served our country. See you there!
