 OKC & Norman / October 4-November 1
Discover the mysterious side of Oklahoma City and Downtown Norman with a ghost tour. During these exciting walks, visitors will hear spine-tingling tales of legends, unexplained mysteries and more throughout these cities.

Each year in October, the Oklahoma City Zoo hosts the Haunt the Zoo event. Kids can get an up-close look at the animals while taking part in Trick-or-Treating throughout the zoo. You won't want to miss one of these unique, Halloween celebrations throughout the month at the Oklahoma City Zoo & Botanical Garden.

Pick the perfect pumpkin at the Cordell Pumpkin Festival. Whether you’re making a pie or carving a jack-o-lantern, you’re sure to find the pumpkin for you. While you’re there, dig into the pumpkin pancake breakfast, take part in or observe the Halloween costume parade, and check out the amazing vehicles at the car show.

Spend an October Sunday at one of Route 66’s most iconic structures during the Round Barn Rendezvous. Enjoy a diverse array of live music as well as food and drinks while you take a break from cruising Route 66.

Beer and bratwurst are just some of the tasty treats you’ll find at an Oktoberfest celebration. As one of the biggest Oktoberfest events in the state, the Tulsa Oktoberfest is your chance to experience Bavarian heritage including authentic German food, polka music and much more.

 Foss / October 18-19
Take part in some spooky state park activities at the Foss Halloween in the Park. During this annual event, Foss State Park is transformed into a Halloween experience including a haunted egg hunt and haunted trail as well as trick-or-treating. Costumes are encouraged for all visitors.

 Poteau / October 18-19
Take to the sky or observe hot air balloons from the ground during the Poteau Balloonfest. This annual event includes tethered balloon rides, carnival rides, craft booths and much more. At night, stick around to view the exciting balloon glow show on the ground.

 Wilburton / October 18-20
Experience autumn in Oklahoma at the Robbers Cave Fall Festival. During this three-day event, Robbers Cave State Park will be full of 500+ classic and custom cars participating in the car show and fall foliage cruise. Take time to enjoy the fall colors as you browse local vendor stalls or hike near the lake.

 Oklahoma City / October 19
Take in an incredible display of Oklahoma’s western heritage during the Stockyards Stampede. Horses, cattle, cowboys and cowgirls will march through Oklahoma City’s Historic Stockyards City. Enjoy live country music, good food, and western-themed goods from local vendors during the event.
