From Ariza Bellevue: A Status Overview & Email Contact
Nashville.gov sent this bulletin at 09/03/2026 03:27 PM CDTAll,
This is, as I promised, the update that I requested from the Ariza developer, as well as including a contact email address. Please reach out there with any and all questions. If you have any Metro concerns, please address them through hub.nashville.gov. Thank you!
Councilwoman Weiner, per our conversation yesterday, please post this to the neighborhoods:
We understand there have been several questions regarding the commencement of construction on the Ariza Bellevue bridge and Coley Davis improvements. An overview of the project’s status is below:
- Following Stormwater Variance renewal, Ariza Bellevue received Final SP approval, and a Grading Permit was issued in July. Since then, we have been working through various pre-construction tasks.
- The initial stage of bridge construction is already underway on site.
- Construction activity on Coley Davis is scheduled to begin on September 15, 2026.
- Per the SP ordinance, Coley Davis Road shall have two-way traffic maintained on it during all phases of construction.
- To complete the elevation work required, temporary lanes will need to be installed. One side of the roadway will be elevated at a time. This will require multiple phases using different traffic control alignments. When sections of roadway are elevated higher than adjacent sections, TDOT guidance for barrier rail will be followed to protect vehicles.
- The Coley Davis right-of-way permits are issued for 90 days at a time. These will be renewed as needed for the Coley Davis work, which is scheduled to be completed over a period of approximately one year.
- We are coordinating with multiple agencies on this project in addition to seasonal impacts so timing and plans may change as construction progresses. The project will follow the terms of the SP ordinance in dealing with potential changes to the schedule.
Please submit questions related to the project to info@arizabellevue.com for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Thanks,
Ariza Bellevue
