After 14 years with the Metro Historical Commission, we are sad to announce that Dr. Tara Mitchell Mielnik has left our office. Tara will continue to be a thoughtful advocate for history education and preservation as she takes on a new role as a professor at Cumberland University. Best of luck, Tara! |
Taking over Tara's duties reviewing Section 106 compliance and overseeing the Historical Markers program is our newest full time staff member, Jessica Reeves. Jessica has a B.S. in Mass Communications and an M.A. in History, both from MTSU. Welcome, Jessica!
