Holiday Collection Schedule - The COM will observe Christmas - Dec. 24 & 25, 2025

The City of Memphis government offices will be closed on December 24 and December 25,2025, in observance of the Christmas Holiday.  

There will be NO solid waste collection service for residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management on these days. Monday and Tuesday customers are asked to present their carts on Monday, December 22nd, for collection. Wednesday and Thursday customers are asked to present their carts on Tuesday, December 23, for service. Friday customers will be serviced on Friday. Excess trash and yard waste services will be limited for customers the week of the holiday.

Residents serviced by Team Waste will experience a one-day delay. Thursday customers are asked to present their carts on Friday at the curb, and Friday customers will be serviced on Saturday.

Remember to have carts at the curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day.
