Solid Waste Management Holiday Collection Schedule 2024-2025

The City of Memphis government offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 and Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Holiday. All essential services will remain open to serve the citizens of Memphis.

• There will be NO solid waste collection service for residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management on these days.
• The contractor Team Waste will observe Christmas Day. There will be a one-day delay Thursday, December 26th, 2024, and Friday, December 27th, respectively.

Residents serviced by the City of Memphis crews will service Monday and Tuesday customers Monday, December 23rd, 2024. Wednesday and Thursday customers will be serviced on Thursday, December 26th, 2024. Friday customers will be serviced on Friday, December  27th, 2024.  Excess trash and yard waste services will be limited for customers the week of Christmas.

• Remember to have carts at the curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day.
