2024 Thanksgiving Holiday Collection Schedule

The City of Memphis government offices will be CLOSED on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and Friday, November, 29th 2024 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

  • There will be NO solid waste collection service for residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management on these days.
  • The contractor Team Waste will service Thursday and Friday customers one day delayed, Friday, November 29th, 2024, and Saturday, November 30th.

Residents serviced by the City of Memphis crews will service:

  • Monday and Tuesday customers                    Monday, November 25th, 2024.
  • Wednesday and Thursday customers            Tuesday, November 26th, 2024.
  • Friday customers                                            Wednesday, November 27th, 2024.                                         Excess trash and yard waste services will be limited for customers Thanksgiving week.

Remember to have carts at the curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day. The schedule attached is for residents serviced by the City of Memphis Solid Waste Management only.
